Grade 5 enjoyed incredible hands-on activities - from an inspiring trip to the shofar factory last week, to beading beautiful honey jars with King David Ariel.

A wonderful combination of unity, exploration, creativity and art, with special take-homes they can treasure for years to come: their very own shofar and honey jar!

What an amazing way to learn, create and get into the spirit of Rosh Hashanah!

What a beautiful morning! Our Grade 2's came together to receive their first siddurim, and the joy in the room was palpable.
As the children sang their songs and prayers, we could feel the connection to generations before them, voices carrying tradition forward with so much heart. Teachers and parents alike were filled with pride watching their precious children take this special step in their journey.

Mazeltov to our Grade 2 stars on receiving your siddurim. May you hold them close, now and always!

𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘀!
Before hitting the stage, our Grade 7 girls took part in a beautiful handprint team-building activity celebrating the friendships and connections they’ve made throughout the production.

Inspirational questions encouraged each girl to think about the people who have supported, inspired, encouraged and made their journeys special. Their answers guided them in choosing who would receive each handprint.
The final handprint allowed each girl to choose someone to receive an inspiring brocha for the production ahead.
There was lots of laughter, excitement and a few heartfelt moments — reminding us that this production is about so much more than performing. It’s about friendship, connection, encouragement and the impact we have on one another.
What a beautiful group of girls and an even more beautiful bond!

Science meets Spring in Grade 1 🌸🌼🌸
Today started with a joyful brocha in our beautiful gardens,🍃celebrating the beauty of spring all around us.
🌳We discovered the special trees mentioned in the Torah, connecting nature with learning.
🔬 Then came the science magic:
Our Grade 1's designed and decorated flowers using three different kinds of paper. After folding them, they placed the flowers in water and predicted which would open first… and why! Science words like absorb, predict, and observe were heard 🌺💧
The children learned:
* Cabbage chemistry: Red cabbage juice transformed into a rainbow when mixed with acids and alkaline.
* ⁠The grand finale? Mixing all the colors together….bubbling, fizzing, boiling, and even a mini “explosion”! 🌈🧪💥
The highlight was witnessing our little scientists’ eyes sparkle as spring came alive through gardens, experiments, and giggles. 🌞💐

Well done to Judah Brasg - under 13, Ethan Berzack - under 12 and James Nahon - under 11, as they have been selected to represent the North East Area District teams in their respective age groups. Judah and Ethan receive their School Cricket Half Colours for their selection. We are incredibly proud and wish you all the best.

Earlier in June, Judah represented South Africa as the number 1 ranked Under 13 South African tennis player and competed in France. Judah receives his School Tennis Full Colours and is recognized on our South African Honours Board at the back of the hall. This is an incredible achievement, well done Judah.
