💙🙏 SACRED HEART DAY MASS🙏💛

Today, we gathered to celebrate our Sacred Heart Feast Day under this year’s theme, Connecting To Creation.

Through our Mass, we reflected on the Web of Life and the interconnectedness of Creation, reminding us of our shared responsibility to care for one another and our world. 🌍🕸️

Our celebration included student reflections, prayers, artwork and offerings, an address by our President Nicolas Bwasa, readings from different faith traditions, a beautiful duet by Azande Quntana and Amahle Ncube, and a powerful Peace Song led by our Grade 12s.

A meaningful celebration of faith, unity, Creation and community. 💙

HAPPY SACRED HEART DAY!💙💛

Today, we celebrate what makes our school more than just a place of learning. It’s the people, the memories, the friendships, the opportunities and the values that make Sacred Heart College feel like home.

But today, we have one big question:

✨ What does Sacred Heart mean to you?✨

Eisteddfod in South Africa is an annual cultural festival and non-competitive arts event where participants of all ages showcase talents in music, dance, theater, and fine arts. This year our students participated in the fine arts poetry section. All 4 participants were awarded Gold certificates in the respective poetry sections. We would like to congratulate Daniel Winks, Amahle Ncube, Mphoentle Setsgwaelo and Vivian Mlauzi on achieving Gold certificates

🇿🇦🏆 SOUTH AFRICA ARE COSAFA CHAMPIONS 2026! 🏆🇿🇦

Congratulations to the South African team on an outstanding achievement! The trophy is home! 🇿🇦🙌

We are especially proud of our Grade 12 student, Egan Freese, who represented South Africa and played a role in the team’s journey to victory. ⚽🇿🇦

“I had attended my MD virtually with the help of friends. Shoutout to Tyson Chetty, who was the one who helped me attend. It was a big occasion that I just tried not to miss. A big thanks to Sacred Heart College for assisting me and accommodating me to go to a tournament like this. It was a wonderful experience, and history was made.” — Egan Freese
