Owen hosted a raffle at the DPG 13th National Annual Awards, winners could win a No3 Potjie or a huge enamel pot, both from Megamaster.

We sold tickets and Winners were drawn. Ruann Kruger, Sean Borril and Stacy Fernandez won. 🥳

All proceeds from the raffle add up to R16 000.00 so a donation of 16k will be paid over to ST VINCENT SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF.

Starting in 2019, 24 learners were trained at St Vincent School by TVET College SA in clothing manufacturing. After this initial training, the group moved to TFG’s new factory in Johannesburg. They will continue their training and eventually be employed by TFG. The work environment TFG set up for them is AMAZING! A second group of 26 learners has started at school and in October they will join this group at the factory. 50 Deaf people working together under 1 roof! Such an exciting project 👋🌺💐❤️

We are very proud of our learners Amkele Qamarana and James Willers who have qualified to attend the Senior Nationals and Paralympic Trials (James) and Deaflympics Trials (Amkele) in Gqeberha next month. We are all rooting for you! 👋👋👋👋👋❤️❤️❤️

Mrs Avery who worked at St Vincent School for 37 years passed away yesterday. She was a kind and caring soul who made a huge impact on many of our kids’ lives. Her sense of humour was incredible and she often had us in stitches. She always put the learners’ needs first and comforted many when they were sad. May her soul rest in eternal peace. 🌺💐❤️💐🌺❤️
