ballet exams done βοΈ and dusted! π
πππ Why are ballet exams important for dancers???
πConfidence and resilience - pushing through nerves and succeeding through trusting their training and giving their best builds confidence which is a foundational life skill.
πCreativity and artistry- despite following a structured syllabus in an exam, dancers are still required to show their own artistry, musicality, performance and expression which is hugely personal and encourages dancers to think independently.
π Discipline and self - motivation - progress and improvement require diligence and consistency as well as perseverance. This teaches children that their on-going efforts are what count and to stay motivated in themselves keeping the focus.
πππ These are all life skills needed to become a strong, motivated and proud person who can handle tough situations and be proud of their achievements!
We are so proud of our dancers who show up in every way and smile big while doing it ππβ€οΈπ
