Hi guys,

A little call out to all of my Swans that have stayed with me in the past. I hope you all all flourishing and progressing well in your careers.

I am building a platform on Instagram to promote Swanage to future swans. It would be lovely if you could check out the page and give it a follow. I’ll be posting memories from our past adventures together, so feel free to pop up and send over our family photos ❤️

We had a successful trip to Chobe and Moremi taking in Elephant Sands and Victoria Falls along the way.
Our two next planned safaris are to the Kgalakadi (fully booked) and Kruger where we will be a lot more day walks instead of only viewing from the car. Walking exposes you to a lot more of the small detail but game viewing is a lot less rewarding as the animals get wind and hear us a lot earlier. They are not socialized to seeing us on foot so dissappear quickly.

We welcome Leonie Riederer and Nicholas Schneider from Austria as they start their electives at Chris Hani Bara...both got off to a flying start.

Good news Guys Swanage is officially open for medical students as of 1 June 2020.
Game reserves are also open....see you soon.

While we wait in anticipation for this epidemic to play itself out, I invested in a 3M mask 6500 with filters. The mask is so comfortable. I don't rebreathe my end tidal volume and my spectacles no longer mist up. The seal is solid and does not need to be constantly adjusted by hand.
It also affords great protection for intubation. I am using the clamp head visor.
Looking forward to exercising outside of the home alone again.
I have started trying new recipes every few days to lighten the Covid stress, if you are keen to join the whatsapp me :::)))
