Buzzing into World Bee Day! 🌍🐝

In celebration of World Bee Day (20 May), our learners recently took part in an exciting cross-curricular learning experience focused on the incredible world of bees and the important role they play in our ecosystem.

We were privileged to welcome a beekeeper who shared fascinating insights on pollination, honeybee colonies, hive structures, bee safety and the importance of bees in sustaining biodiversity and food production.

Through this engaging experience, learners explored the life cycle of honeybees, the different roles within a hive, environmental conservation and responsible beekeeping - developing a deeper appreciation for nature and sustainability. 💚

A wonderful example of meaningful learning beyond the classroom!

- Our U14 and U15 Netball teams fought their way through to the Quarter Finals
- Our U17 Soccer team also secured their place in the Quarter Finals
