Hey AIESEC! 🗣️
We have formed a partnership with AIESEC in mainland of China (MoC) to aid in mobilising a new website called Share The Future (STF).
This website provides AIESEC members with a virtual experience to travel around the world to learn about different cultures, and traditions while also participating in short-term challenges that aid in supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
We would like to align most of the challenges with:
SDG 3: Good Health and Well Being
SDG 4: Quality Education
SDG 8: Decent work and economic growth
~Why these three?~
Mostly because Public Health, Decent Job Opportunities and Economic Growth have been pressing issues under a pandemic situation. However, you are free to raise other social issue based challenges.
"If you want to go fast go alone, but if you want to go far go together!" ~African Proverb
We are calling on all AIESECers, Alumni and new members to join and engage with the Share The Future website (STF) in order for us to make a greater impact.
~Benefits of joining?~
1. Gain an understanding of cultural differences and similarities around the world.
2. Encourages global public welfare.
3. Enhances one's social abilities for international influence.
4. Actively contribute towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
5. You don't need a covid permit or travel visa for this one!
Stages to follow once you've joined the website:
STAGE 1: Participate in the challenges (at least 3) and watch stories from other countries to get a grip of how to set a challenge associated with the SDGs and how to create a story associated with cultural exchange.
STAGE 2: Create challenges and stories of your own! (Be creative with it)
STAGE 3: Share challenges with your local community and youth in South Africa 🗣️👤🗣️👤
~Join us and be apart of the Youth for Global Goals Experience (Y4GG) ~
If you're interested and would like to start today sign up on the website : https://www.sharethefuture.net/
and begin your virtual travels around the world.🌍🌏🌎
Additionally, once you've signed up kindly fill in this form👇🏿https://bit.ly/JoinShareTheFuture

Happy South Africa!

Speaking at the first anniversary of South Africa’s non-racial elections President Mandela said; “As dawn ushered in this day, the 27th of April 1995, few of us could suppress the welling of emotion, as we were reminded of the terrible past from which we come as a nation; the great possibilities that we now have; and the bright future that beckons us. Wherever South Africans are across the globe, our hearts beat as one, as we renew our common loyalty to our country and our commitment to its future. The birth of our South African nation has, like any other, passed through a long and often painful process.

The ultimate goal of a better life has yet to be realised. On this day, you, the people, took your destiny into your own hands. You decided that nothing would prevent you from exercising your hard-won right to elect a government of your choice. Your patience, your discipline, your single-minded purposefulness have become a legend throughout the world...”
