With an MSc in Property Studies from UCT and an MIT-IDSS Data Science qualification, he merges advanced expertise with hands-on experience. A registered valuer in Malawi and lecturer at MUBAS, he drives innovation and credibility in real estate valuation.

Sylvie Dusengimana is a dedicated real estate and facilities management professional with a passion for sustainable development and innovation in the built environment.

She serves as a Tutorial Assistant at the University of Rwanda and is the Founder of EmpowerHer Estate Rwanda, a nonprofit promoting women’s participation in real estate. Sylvie holds a First-Class BSc in Estate Management and Valuation and has experience in property valuation, management, and urban resilience.

She is preparing for a master’s in Smart City Management and Technology, with research focusing on AI-driven building energy performance and gender-inclusive urban transformation across Africa.

Dr. Samson Mutarisi present: Building Sustainable Property Business, Innovation, Technology and Future Trends in Property.

Dr. Samson Mutarisi is a multi-disciplinary Zimbabwean professional registered as a Spatial Planner, Property Valuer, and Estate Agent.

His career is backed by strong academic foundation, including a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning, an MSc in Construction Project Management, a BSc in Rural and Urban Planning, Diploma in Real Estate Management.
Currently, he serves as an IMPI Biotech City Planning Committee Member and the Lead Planner for the Chimanimani Rural District Master Plan.

Dr. Mutarisi possesses extensive expertise in town planning and property valuation, having spearheaded major statutory master plans, local development plans, and valuation rolls for numerous local authorities across Zimbabwe.

He is the expert behind the introduction of the Real Estate Market Intelligence Report in Malawi and has been instrumental in piloting a Corporate Property Valuation Databank to enhance transparency, data reliability, and professional standards in the real estate sector in Malawi.

He has played a key role in hosting online Webinars across Africa to promote valuation and real estate affairs.
