When this gets out of control, it becomes trauma. Children who's hearts get broken over and over again by parents who don't understand that mistakes, experiments and exploration is needed for growth, and should be guided, are traumatized by shouting.
This kind of trauma is then passed on from generation to generation until someone breaks the cycle. Think before you shout at your child next time. Why are you shouting?
