So proud to have been a part of this incredible organisation for over 11 years. The compassion, care and biopsychosocial-spiritual mode that we work with supports clients in empowering themselves in recovery and developing skills and tools to support their wellness.
With an 11-month aftercare and outpatient process that supports an extended continuum of care, I believe we give our clients the opportunity to deepen and anchor their recoveries in a safe and supportive environment.

It's so amazing to see these incredible spirits wondering around The Foundation Clinic - Addiction Recovery Solutions. So curious about them and the blessings they bring 💚
Spiritually, white peacocks are usually seen as a sign of purity, transformation, and spiritual awakening—all the usual peacock meanings, but “turned up” and washed in light.
Here are the main themes people associate with them:
Purity and divine grace:
The white plumage is often read as spiritual purity, innocence, and protection—like the “light” or higher self shining through.
Wisdom of the Spirit:
Because they’re so rare, many traditions treat a white peacock as a visitation of divine grace or blessing.
Spiritual awakening and higher consciousness:
Many spiritual writers see the white peacock as a symbol of awakening, enlightenment, and raised vibration—a nudge to step into your spiritual gifts, intuition, or calling.
Encountering one (in life or in dreams) is often interpreted as: “You’re entering a new spiritual chapter; trust the shift.”
Transformation and rebirth:
Peacocks shed and regrow their feathers, so they’ve long been linked with rebirth and renewal; in white form this becomes leaving behind old shadows and stepping into a cleaner, truer self.
Symbolism and Metaphor:
Wholeness, beauty and authentic self-expression. Spiritually, it can be an invitation to stop hiding, release shame, and own your radiance without ego.
Wisdom, creativity and the divine feminine (especially in Hinduism)
In Hindu tradition, the (white) peacock is associated with Saraswati, goddess of wisdom, music, and the arts—connecting it to inspiration, learning, and refined creativity. It can show up as a sign to trust your creative flow, study deeper, or speak your truth with grace.
Protection and clearing of negative energy:
Some sources say the white peacock appears when negative or “toxic” energies are being cleared, almost like a spiritual “smudging” in bird form...
As I sit here listening to the last few helicopters and motorcades leave Sandton my heart is lifted. I have always believed that it would take time to work through where we came from, and healing is never easy. In 1994 our leaders took over a country wracked with trauma; the leaders themselves personally traumatized at a deep deep level. For 31 years this country has needed to heal from the trauma that runs in the blood and soul of every person who is a South African.
But healing is painful and takes time. There is no magic bullet that does that, especially when it's not something that seems to be addressed enough. And possibly something that many many people are not even aware that they carry.
Pain is intergenerational and it skews the way we see the world and respond to our situations. It shows up in humans mentally, emotionally, spiritually and socially. It presents itself as self-preservation, greed and corruption. It turns us against one another in a time we should be turning towards one another.
I see and work with traumatized people every day. People we expect to be showing up in the world and be making the "right" decisions; living, leading, loving and governing from a place of logic, reason and rationale. Something almost impossible to do if we don't have the right psychosocial-spiritual tools.
We all need to take accountability and responsibility. We need to stop blaming and start really healing. And healing hurts like hell.
We are a nation of people who need to think about our own roles in that process, no matter how big or small our contribution. We need to be turning towards rach another and be having conversations with one another that are difficult, triggering and extremely uncomfortable. And we need to be able to hear, see amd acknowledge the pain we all carry. We also need to see the possibility and hope that exists in us as South Africans. We're courageous and resilient and I believe we have what it takes to be well if we are committed to doing the work.
We need to want to heal and the way we heal as a nation is to start with ourselves. I'm not saying bad behaviour is okay, and I do believe it comes from unhealed wounds.
Let's commit!

Been using this amazing supplement for the last 2 or 3 months.
Sceletium is extracted for rhe Kanna plant which is South Africa's very own medicine, used by the San (Bushman) tribes of Southern Africa for thousands of years for its multitude of benefits.
It's a really amazing little plant that is as powerful as it is non-addictive or habit-forming, so can be safely and effectively used by those of us in recovery.
If you'd like more detailed information about this incredible supplement, please Whatsapp me (067)903-0070 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

Gratefully sober since 1st January 2008! It's been an incredible journey of self-discovery and freaking hard work. My life is far from perfect, but it is a whole lot better now that I don't drink and use drugs/medications recreationally. I have laughed, cried, battled, triumphed, fought, won, lost and learned over the years.
I continue to do the work, and also the play, of being a well person. I believe there are multiple pathways to recovery and that we can and do get well if we work at it. It's not about one process or programme being better than another; it's about what we do with what's available. It's about consistently choosing recovery no matter how I feel or what's going on!
Thank you to everyone who's been part of my recovery up to this point. It's been an emotionally, spiritually, and financially challenging year, and I am committed to keep doing the work and showing up for myself and the people in my life.
Sending loads of NY wishes for - loving that vibe ❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵
