Cake and Candy Day Fun!

Today was filled with creativity, laughter, and plenty of sweet treats as our Grade 9 learners hosted a fantastic Cake and Candy Event!

Learners embraced the fun by dressing according to the exciting themes of Soccer Moms, Braai Dads, and Emo, bringing plenty of personality and humour to the day. From stylish soccer sidelines and braai-master outfits to bold emo fashion, everyone enjoyed expressing themselves while creating memorable moments with friends.

Events like these help build school spirit, encourage creativity, and strengthen the sense of community that makes our school such a special place.

A huge thank you to our Grade 9 learners for their effort in organising a fun-filled day enjoyed by all!

United Behind Bafana Bafana 🇿🇦

Just hours before the opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup between South Africa and Mexico, the excitement and national pride were on full display at Rand Preparatory and College.

Learners and staff arrived dressed in their South African colours, proudly showing their support for Bafana Bafana as they prepare to represent our nation on football’s biggest stage.

Moments like these remind us of the power of sport to bring people together, inspire unity, and ignite national pride across generations. The atmosphere around the school was filled with excitement, anticipation, and belief as everyone rallied behind the team.

We wish Bafana Bafana every success throughout the tournament and hope they make South Africa proud with their determination, teamwork, and passion.

Chess in Action

Our learners had the opportunity to represent Rand Prep at a chess event hosted by St Luke's College on Monday.

Chess develops critical thinking, concentration, problem-solving, strategic planning, and resilience—skills that benefit learners both inside and outside the classroom. Competitions like these also provide valuable opportunities for learners to challenge themselves, build confidence, and learn from others.
