Hi, I’m Pascale Verolini , a Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) certified ballet teacher, choreographer, and conditioning coach. My qualifications are rooted in extensive classical training, following completion of the Dance Honours Programme at Southdowns College. I am also currently completing my RAD Advanced 2 🩰 With international teaching experience across South Africa and the United Arab Emirates, I instruct dancers ranging from Pre-Primary through to Advanced 2 and Adult Ballet levels. Alongside preparing students for RAD examinations with technical precision, I have directed annual showcase productions and coached dancers to top-three international competition placements and Dance World Cup qualification in Spain and Ireland.

For me, dance allows us to connect deeply with music, express genuine emotion without words, and cultivate patience, discipline, and perseverance. I am thrilled to bring this dedication to Bloom Dance Studio, creating a safe, encouraging, and judgement-free space where learners of all ages can step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, and discover the joy of movement!

Sooo what is Neoburlesque? Originating from the Italian ‘burla’ meaning ‘mockery’ - it is embodies the evolution from early highbrow Vaudeville reveal performance into what is now a global performance art centred on glamour, inclusive empowerment empowerment, sensuality and the art of wit. Think Dita Von Tesse 🍸or the Crazy Horse Paris 🎠 For me, with a background in both Burlesque Performance (Circus Gothica) and Pole Dancing - I am very excited for this to form part of our Bloom adult dance offering soon! Adult Contemporary class at my home studio space last year…
This choreo (by Ipeleng Merafe Derby ) was taught to a complete beginner in one class. Why I feel it worked:
🎶She chose the song herself!Always going to get the best performance out of any dancer this way.
🧠Adults think too hard because they don’t want to look bad but movement is more important than form at this stage. Process over outcome!
3. Dance is positive psychology - celebrate your OWN progress!

The best part for me is actually the ‘I did it’ giggles of joy at the end 😊👏🏼

These little blooms are 2-3 years old and capable of so much more than we imagine. In class, we see glimpses of who they are becoming, and it is a privilege to watch them unfold. G says, ‘Look I can scratch your back!’, while M focuses on her legs to get all her joints in a beautiful long line. Little frogs swim on their tummies and fold over to sleep. It’s all really fun!
