Malibongwe- Empowering Mothers

Malibongwe is a single mother empowerment project of African Havens Foundation. The mornings are spent teaching basic life skills.

We cover a range of topics: We have permission to use the Jumpstart SA life skills materials

The afternoons are spent teaching crafts using provided materials. We encourage the ladies to sell these crafts and start earning some income immediately. This part of the program has become so successful that we are beginning to expand by investing R300 ($30) in each woman and that allows them to buy t

And just like that, the year started with 15 beautiful new Malibongwe women. We are so excited to walk hand in hand with what God has planned for this first Semester.

And just like that Class 2025A graduated. First time we had every woman graduate, a Malibongwe baby and one of the highest grossing business women. To God be the glory. We will be back in July. 🤍
