Tumbling Tigerz is a functinal exercise programme for children aged 3 years and older. Our specialised programme has a wide range of well thought out balanced and fully endorsed programmes, that ensure we keep your child's attention span and body active in each and every 30 minute session. All our programmes are under constant review to maintain excellent physical development and ensure our programmes do not become repetitive or out-dated.

Firstly OMG .. look how young Cheyne Butler looks 🐥

Meet Timmy when u first met Timmy he instantly loved me as I trained his older brothers , I was privileged enough to enjoy another full circle moment when he finished 4 years of development through the Tumbling Tigerz program.

Happy 15 years of development to Tumbling Tigerz, and thank you to my special family’s who trusted Daniel Duncan Butler and Cheyne Butler to sign thier children up and believe in all we stand for and taught thier children 😍🥹😍

15 YEARS of moving.
15 YEARS of learning.
15 YEARS of growing.
15 YEARS of little Tigers finding their confidence. 🧡

And the number that makes us most proud…

✨ Over 50,000 children have come into contact with Tumbling Tigerz over the years! ✨

50,000 little lives that we’ve had the privilege of moving, teaching, encouraging and developing through the power of PLAY and MOVEMENT. 🏃‍♀️🤸‍♂️🐯

What started as an idea has grown into something bigger than we could ever have imagined — incredible coaches, schools, families, franchisees and thousands upon thousands of little Tigers across South Africa. 🇿🇦

And we are nowhere near finished.

Our dream for the next 15 years is even bigger: to keep getting children MOVING, keep developing strong and confident little humans, keep growing our Tigerz family and continue working towards making Tumbling Tigerz a household name. 🐯

To every parent who registered a child…
Every school that opened its doors…
Every coach who put on that orange shirt…
And every little Tiger who has ever shouted, laughed, jumped, rolled, balanced or played with us…

🐯🧡 THIS is what happy Tigerz sound like! 🧡🐯

A group of little Tigerz, selfie mode ON, singing the Tigerz song together… 🥹🎶

No prompting. No perfect setup. Just happy kids, being silly, singing together and enjoying time with their coach.

These are the moments we love most because they show that Tumbling Tigerz is about so much more than movement.

It’s about children feeling comfortable, connected and excited to be with their coach. 🧡

When children love the environment they’re learning in, everything else becomes that little bit easier.

And judging by this performance… we may need to start a Tigerz choir. 😂🐯🎤

🐯 BUNNY HOPS ➡️ SKIPPING! 🪢

Did you know that children generally start mastering two-foot skipping with a rope around 5–6 years old?

But we don’t just hand them a skipping rope and say, “GO!” 😂

At Tumbling Tigerz, we scaffold movement — which simply means we start with an easier skill and gradually make it more challenging.

🐰 First: Bunny hops — two feet together, jump and land.
🪢 Next: Add the rope — now we need jumping PLUS timing, rhythm and coordination!

And if your little Tiger has been doing Tigerz for years, don’t worry… we’re not letting them off that easily! 😜🐯

We adapt and progress our activities to suit the age and ability of the group, so the same basic movement can keep becoming more challenging as our Tigers grow.

Start simple. Build the skill. Then level it up! 💪🐯

Who doesn’t love a good OLD-SCHOOL game? 🐯💪

When last did your kids play TUG-OF-WAR?! There’s something so good about children getting to push, pull, struggle, laugh and feel HARD things through play!

Pushing & pulling activities are brilliant for:
🐯 Building strength – especially through the arms, shoulders and core
🐯 Body awareness – helping children understand how much force their bodies are using
🐯 Confidence & resilience – learning that something can feel HARD… and they can keep going!

And tug-of-war? It brings ALL of that together with teamwork, determination and a whole lot of FUN! 😂

Our Tigerz get so into it, they’ll even challenge the coach! 🐯🔥

This Women’s Day, our hearts are full as we celebrate the truly amazing women who make Tumbling Tigerz so special. 🌸✨

Our wonderful coaches bring so much more than energy and skill to every class — they bring patience, kindness, encouragement and so much love. 🧡

They are the hands that help our little Tigerz find their balance, the voices that say “You can do it!”, the smiles that make nervous little faces feel safe, and the biggest cheerleaders when a child achieves something they never thought they could. 🐯🌟

Behind every carefully planned lesson is a woman who has given her time, creativity and heart to make sure our Tigerz are learning, growing, laughing and loving every moment.

We are so incredibly grateful for the beautiful women who make up our Tigerz family — our coaches, moms, grannies, teachers and all the special women who love, support and believe in our little Tigerz. 🌷💕
