The Centre for Education Policy Development (CEPD) has been contracted by the Human Resources Development Council of South Africa (HRDCSA) to serve as a fund holding agency. As a fund holding agency, the CEPD is expected to undertake a number of tasks to facilitate certain processes and activities for the HRDCSA secretariat. These include commissioning of various studies on behalf of the Council secretariat and entering into contracts with the agencies that are appointed to carry out the tasks (studies). The CEPD is thus facilitating a process of soliciting proposals from several organisations/consultancies based on their history and experience in the relevant focus areas of each study.

The CEPD thus wishes to open an invitation to all interested parties to submit a proposal for the bid to Conduct a Study on Programmes Identified and Prioritised by the FET Colleges Technical Task Team and its Work Streams.

If you or your organisation have the expertise to conduct such a study and you are interested in this bid, please click on the link below, to see the Terms or Reference. The closing date for submissions of proposals would be Monday, 12 August 2013.

Please note that the ceiling price for this bid is R1.2 million. This amount is premised on the fact that there's a lot of work to be done in a short space of time, especially during the first month. This would, thus, be indicative of the resources that service providers would need to put into their efforts in order to complete the tasks.
