Classroom Leader. Athlete. Mentor. 🍎

Join us in celebrating Mrs. Portia Mutombo! A proud Vaal native and a devoted mother and wife, Portia brings a unique energy to Vuleka. When she isn't teaching Afrikaans or Creative Arts, you’ll find her sharing her love for netball and hockey. We are so proud to have watched her grow from an intern in 2022 to the phenomenal educator she is today! 🎓✨

MEET MR. MALULEKE

For the past five years, Mr. Sizwe Maluleke has been an important part of the Vuleka St Mark’s family, bringing passion, dedication and a genuine love for helping young people grow.

As our Intermediate Phase Head, Mr. Maluleke teaches Grades 4–7 Social Sciences, Computers and Physical Education, while also helping create an environment where learners feel seen, valued and inspired.

For him, teaching goes beyond transferring knowledge. It’s about sparking curiosity, nurturing creativity and building confidence — encouraging learners to ask questions, explore boldly and become lifelong learners.

And beyond the classroom, he’s a proud dad to four children — three energetic boys and an 8-month-old baby girl who brings plenty of joy, laughter and purpose. ❤️

What he loves most about Vuleka St Vuleka St.Mark's s? The community. The teamwork, the care for learners, and the shared commitment to both academic excellence and character development.

We’re proud to have educators like Mr. Maluleke shaping not only young minds, but young people.

Thank you for being part of the Vuleka story, Mr. Maluleke!
