CONFIDENCE. CREATIVITY. COMMUNICATION.

Our Preparatory School Interhouse Public Speaking Evening was a wonderful celebration of our students’ growing confidence, creativity and communication skills.

From thoughtful ideas to entertaining speeches, our young speakers took to the stage with courage and confidence, putting into practice the skills they have developed with Mr Appleton and through Public Speaking extra-mural.

Every speech earned valuable points towards the Interhouse competition, and the results are in:

🥇 Tyndale – 38 points
🥈 Wycliffe – 31 points
🥉 Coverdale – 21 points

A huge congratulations to all our speakers! Standing up in front of an audience takes preparation, courage and confidence, and every student who participated should be incredibly proud.

2026 VIBES CAMP | Adventure, Faith & Unforgettable Moments

Our Preparatory School students had an incredible weekend at VIBES Camp 2026! From hiking, abseiling and archery to campfires and survival activities, there was plenty of adventure, laughter and fun.

But VIBES was about so much more than adventure; it was a time to exalt God and remind our students that they are chosen, loved and called by Him.

The worship sessions and heartfelt letters from parents were highlights of the weekend, creating beautiful and emotional moments for both students and staff

Our Preparatory School recently hosted our Annual Chess Festival, welcoming 10 schools for a wonderful day of strategic thinking, friendly competition and a shared love for the game.

While chess is a game of skill and strategy, our festival is about so much more than winning trophies. It’s about learning to compete with kindness, challenging yourself, building friendships and celebrating the joy of the game.

Top 100 in South Africa!

Our Preparatory School is incredibly proud to congratulate Daniel Hewson and Alex Chaplin (Grade 6) and Michaela Johnson (Grade 5) on achieving a place in the Top 100 nationally in their respective grades in the South African Maths Challenge!

This is an outstanding achievement and a wonderful reflection of their mathematical talent, dedication and hard work.

Daniel, Alex and Michaela will take on the final round of the competition on Thursday, 10 September.

HISTORY MADE!

We are immensely proud of our High School athletics team following their outstanding performance at yesterday’s Interhigh athletics event.

Our athletes were crowned B League Interhigh Champions, an incredible achievement that has earned our school a promotion to the A League for the first time in our history!

A special shout-out to our matric athletes, who competed with incredible commitment and determination while juggling their Prelim Exams. Your dedication to both your academics and sports is truly inspiring!

Well done to every single athlete who played a part in this historic achievement. Your hard work, determination and contribution have not gone unnoticed.
