Welridge Academy

Welridge Academy Welridge Academy Vision

In a safe and nurturing environment we encourage individual excellence and creativity.

Welridge Academy began in 1987 as a Pre-Primary School only. The school has had various names throughout the years and was named Welridge Academy in January 2008, with the view of starting a foundation phase. Since then we have grown the school from a Pre-School to a Primary school as well as a Pre-Primary school. Our school is registered with the Department of Education. Our registration details can be found on the Registration Page. Currently, our Primary school is divided into two phases: our Foundation Phase where we cater for Grade R to Grade 3, and our Intermediate Phase where we cater for Grade 4 to Grade 7. Our Pre-School learners also follow a set curriculum which begins with our Grade 000 class. We have set routines to be followed by all, and these have yielded excellent results.

Thank you for everything you do, teachers! We appreciate you more than you know. 🥰

Now go forth and enjoy your holiday ! 💃✨

🎪✨ MARKET DAY SUCCESS! ✨🎪

What a day! Our Market Day was filled with delicious treats, exciting games, squishies, goodies and SO much fun! 🥳🍭🎯

Market Day gives our Grade 7's the opportunity to earn valuable EMS points while raising funds, but it’s also a chance for our senior learners to get involved, get creative and experience the excitement of running their very own little businesses! 💼💰

From yummy food to fun games and everything in between, there was something for everyone! 🤩

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing teachers, learners and parents for all the support, effort and enthusiasm that made the day such a success. 💚

We loved seeing our school community come together! 🌟
