We recently hosted our first Alumni Evening event in partnership with the UJ Alumni Office at the UJ School of Tourism and Hospitality at APB.

The evening brought together alumni, colleagues and guests for an opportunity to reconnect, network and engage in meaningful conversations about the future of the transport and supply chain industry.

A highlight of the evening was the panel discussion, “Beyond the Dashboard: Is Digitalisation Actually Fixing South Africa’s Supply Chains?”

The conversation explored how digitalisation is transforming supply chains through improved visibility, efficiency and data-driven decision-making, while also looking beyond technology to the importance of skills, collaboration and strategic implementation in addressing South Africa’s supply chain challenges.

Our BCom Honours students are currently on a Transport and Logistics Tour in Durban, gaining first-hand insight into the practical operations of the transport and logistics industry.

Our BCom Honours students are currently on a Transport and Logistics Tour in Durban, gaining first-hand insight into the operations of the transport and logistics industry.

First stop: Transnet Car Terminal, where students explored the vehicle handling and logistics operations behind the movement of vehicles through one of Durban’s key logistics hubs.
