ya Pfunzo is there to ensure that the children have a safe place to go after school and have people who will play the role of the parent while the parents are at work. Making sure that their homework and assignments are done. It’s a safe haven for kids to learn new skills, be equipped academically so they shine even brighter in schools. Our teachers and volunteers are people who are very passionate about the children, their education and their future and therefore all that they do is aligned to ensuring that every child turns out like a star they are. The way we speak to our children becomes their inner voice

It will be very easy to distinguish between a (DPF) child and a random child from the community because of the values the (DPF) child is taught. There will be a difference in their academics and the way they conduct themselves at home and in the community. We are raising responsible and productive citizens of the world. Our services include: Homework and assignment assistance, life skills, sport, spiritual support, emotional support and computer skills. As we grow, more options will be added. The children are given lunch before these activities begin. We take all children from Grade R to Grade 11, the ages of five (5) to eighteen (18) from the community of Diepsloot, our priority being the orphaned and vulnerable (OVC) children in the community
