The Grade 1 learners have been studying Living and Non-Living Things during their Science lessons. They have been enhancing their comprehension of plants as living things, learning about the functions of each part of a plant. They demonstrated their collective understanding by creating a human model of the different parts of a plant and its function. www.stjamesprep.co.za

In Science this week, Grade 5s were challenged with creating a complete, edible, 3-D model of the cross-section of a flower. Not sure if the best part was creating it or eating it afterwards! www.stjamesschool.co.za
