Hannah’s strength has always been words.

Through copywriting, she found a way to turn ideas into stories, messages and connections. But her journey with the Digify PRO programme was about building the confidence to use those skills and step into the world knowing she has something valuable to offer.

Hannah credits the programme with enriching her journey and helping her feel more confident about what comes next.

This Women’s Month, we’re celebrating the strengths, skills and journeys of the women in our community who continue to grow, learn and make their mark.

Because sometimes, confidence is the strength that helps every other strength shine.

We asked 10 women one question: "What's a strength of yours nobody notices?" Not one of them said resilience.

So often women are celebrated for how much they can carry, how much they can overcome, how they keep going when things get difficult.

But what about the strengths that don't always make headlines?

*The ability to make people feel seen.
* The courage to ask for help.
* The creativity to find another way.
* The wisdom to know when to walk away.
* The patience to keep learning.
*The confidence to take up space.
* The kindness that changes a room.

This Women’s Day, we’re not posting about superwomen. We’re posting about the strengths we don’t talk about enough.

Over the next few days, we’ll be sharing the answers from 10 women in our community and celebrating the qualities that make them who they are, beyond the expectations placed on them.

What’s a strength of yours that people often overlook?

The truth is, women don't have to be superheroes to be extraordinary.

Too often, we celebrate women for doing it all, being everything to everyone, or carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders. While those stories matter, they're not the only stories worth telling.

This month, we're choosing to celebrate something different.

We're shining a light on The Strengths We Don't Talk About. The quiet qualities that often go unnoticed, but shape our families, workplaces and communities every single day. From empathy and adaptability to courage, compassion and hope, these are the strengths that deserve a little more airtime.

Throughout the month of August, the women of Digify Africa will be sharing personal reflections on the strengths they've discovered, the moments that shaped them, and the qualities they hope to pass on to the next generation.

And we'd love for you to be part of the conversation too.

💜 What is one strength you think women have that doesn't get the recognition it deserves?

One of the biggest 'loaded questions' we asked was: What does R500 actually look like in 10 years?

Jessica and Eric brought the conversation back to reality, discussing how small, disciplined moves today can lead to true financial resilience tomorrow.

They remind us that the most important part of the journey is the decision to start.

Eric Moyo, Sales Research Analyst at Satrix said this during our roundtable, and it's worth repeating. A common misconception that many young people have is that you need to be earning a lot to invest.

TFSAs and ETFs exist to make investing lower-risk, tax-free, and genuinely more accessible, especially if you're young or just starting out financially.
For a lot of people, that's the part that changes everything: realising you don't need to wait until you're 'earning more' to begin.

While earning money provides for our lives today, building wealth is about securing our future.

This distinction is at the heart of our latest roundtable discussion, Omphile Kgwathe-Nkiwane , Client Lead at Digify Africa, dives deep into the mindset shift required to move beyond the pull of instant gratification.

We know that in a world of fast-paced social media, investing can feel slow, even invisible. Omphile reminds us that your investment journey is like planting a garden.

At first, it doesn’t look like much, and that is where most people lose patience. But with consistency and discipline, that small seed quietly grows into long-term financial resilience.
