Just over a month ago, the Jewish community lost a giant of a man, Elliot Wolf. Last night, the King David Schools' Foundation held a memorial service to honour his memory and pay tribute to his lifelong contribution to Jewish education and our King David Schools. King David Schools is renowned for its success in fostering an incredible love and passion for the State and Land of Israel. Following the conflict in Israel earlier this year and the resultant onslaught of anti-Israel sentiment, particularly online, it became very clear that we need to ensure that Israel education in the King David context is relevant and empowering for our students.

We have partnered with one such organisation, the iCenter, based in America to work with us on our current Israel education from Pre Primary through to High School and to make recommendations on how best for us to equip our students in this modern world.
We welcome parents from all our King David Schools to come hear from the iCenter representatives as we build on our strong Zionist roots.

Baruch Dayan Haemet. We are heartbroken by the sudden passing of our colleague, friend and mentor, Elliot Wolf.



Elliot was a true gentleman and a mensch. A man of integrity, consistency, and fierce loyalty, who dedicated his life to King David Schools and Jewish education.



At 85 years old, he was still using his passion and extraordinary memory to spend his workdays reconnecting with former pupils around the world. A keen gardener, Elliot nurtured plants and young minds alike. He devoted his entire life to King David Schools, impacting generations of Davidians.



Countless alumni saw Mr. Wolf as a father figure, as he championed both high achievers and those who were struggling. Elliot was every bit as passionate and pedantic about excellence in Jewish education when he first started as a teacher at King David Linksfield in 1968, as he was as Deputy Head in 1969, as Headmaster from 1974 until 2001, and as Director of the King David Schools’ Foundation from 2002.



We wish Jeffrey, his beloved identical twin, and Barbara, his devoted sister-in-law, and the entire family a long life and comfort during this difficult time. He will be sorely missed and never forgotten. His memory and legacy are indeed a blessing for us all.
