Growth looks different every day 🌱

Sometimes it’s learning a new skill. Sometimes it’s finally having the confidence to try. And sometimes it’s something as simple as making a new friend.

Just like everything blooming around us this spring, children grow in their own time and in their own way.

Those little changes are always worth celebrating.

A little wild 🐍

The Wildlife Show brought some very special visitors to Smart Academy.

The kids got to see snakes up close, learn more about reptiles, and even meet a tarantula along the way.

There were plenty of brave faces, curious questions, and a lot of excitement throughout the day.

Learning is always more memorable when you get to experience it for yourself.

Many little questions 💭

That constant curiosity can feel endless, but every “why?” is a child trying to make sense of the world.

Those small conversations help build language, confidence, and independent thinking. Sometimes the best learning starts with a question you weren’t expecting.

At Smart Academy, curious minds are always encouraged to keep asking, exploring, and discovering.

We gave the kids the phone and let them capture a little playground fun.

The result? Lots of smiles, their favourite people, and a few very creative angles 😂

Sometimes the best moments are the ones they choose to photograph themselves.

The little things!

We recently caught up with some of our former Smart Academy students and asked them a few questions.

They remembered playing with their friends.
They remembered their teachers.
They remembered Phyzzie.
They remembered how Smart Academy made them feel.

For young children, those everyday moments are what leave the biggest impression. Feeling safe, having fun, building friendships, and being surrounded by caring teachers are all part of creating a love for learning that lasts long after preschool.

Hearing their memories reminds us that while children may outgrow the classroom, the experiences they have there stay with them.

Thank you to our amazing former students for sharing your memories with us. We couldn’t be prouder of the wonderful young people you’re becoming.
