The JB Marks Education Trust Fund Exit Workshop is currently underway!

Bringing together final-year students from across South Africa, the workshop is designed to equip beneficiaries with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to successfully transition into the next phase of their academic, professional, and entrepreneurial journeys.

Participants are engaging in impactful sessions covering key topics such as:

✅ CV Writing and Personal Branding
✅ Career Readiness
✅ Professional Development

The students were warmly welcomed by the Chairperson of the JB Marks Education Trust Fund Board of Trustees, Mr Lefty Mashego, and the Acting Principal Officer, Mr Bongani Dlamini. They were also honoured to receive an inspiring address from the President of the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM), Mr Phillip Vilakazi, who encouraged them to seize opportunities, embrace continuous learning, and make meaningful contributions to society.

2027 JB Marks Education Trust Fund Online application Opening

Update on Meal Allowance Payment:

Dear Beneficiaries,

We are pleased to confirm that the meal allowances have now been processed. The funds have been paid and will reflect to all beneficiaries by Friday, May 8.
