👣 Staff Spotlight: Anele Shelembe

Anele is a gentle, steady presence in our Junior Phase, supporting learners with patience, empathy, and a deep belief in fairness and inclusion. Her calm nature helps children feel safe, confident, and valued as they grow.

She’s also our unofficial Puzzle Champion — and honestly, it’s hard to tell who gets more excited when a tricky puzzle comes out, Anele or the kids. If a piece goes missing or the picture gets tough, she’s the first to swoop in with a smile and a solution.

👣 Yesterday our senior school learners swapped desks for decks — and what an incredible experience it was.

Thank you to Shayne from The Skate School Academy for welcoming our learners, teaching them the basics, cheering them on, and creating a space where everyone felt brave enough to try. The joy was contagious… even the senior school assistant couldn’t resist joining in.

At Footprints, every new skill is a step toward independence, confidence and possibility.
