Yesterday, the GIBS campus came alive as we marked the partnership between the GIBS Alumni Network and Kenya Airways. โœˆ๏ธ๐ŸŒ

The activation celebrated a shared commitment to strengthening connections, creating opportunities and bringing our alumni community closer to the continent and beyond.

We look forward to seeing this partnership take flight and the value it will bring to the GIBS alumni community.

The future of talent is bright. At GIBS, we're proud to help shape it.

The recent 2026 GIBS Career Fair once again demonstrated the power of meaningful connections between exceptional talent and leading organisations.

We were privileged to host 22 top South African and global companies, all committed to engaging with the next generation of business leaders, innovators, and change-makers. Their presence created invaluable opportunities for our students and alumni to explore career pathways, build professional networks, and gain insights into an increasingly dynamic world of work.

The impact extended beyond the exhibition floor. Our Career Development Hour brought together inspiring speakers who challenged, motivated, and equipped attendees with practical perspectives on career success, personal growth, and professional relevance.

Throughout the day, our dedicated GIBS Career Advisors provided focused, on-the-spot career guidance, helping students refine their career strategies, navigate opportunities, and take meaningful next steps in their professional journeys.

Above all, the event was a powerful reminder of the promise at the heart of the GIBS Career Fair: a vibrant platform to network, learn, and discover what becomes possible when ambition, opportunity, and human connection come together.

A sincere thank you to our participating organisations, speakers, alumni, students, and the entire GIBS Career Services team for making this event such a remarkable success.

At a certain point, wealth becomes less about accumulation and more about stewardship.

How do you protect what you have built? Navigate increasingly complex global markets? And make decisions today that will shape the legacy you leave tomorrow?

The GIBS Alumni Office, in partnership with Citadel, is bringing together a select group of senior alumni and business leaders for The Wealth Stewardship Roundtable.

This intimate, high-level conversation is designed for senior executives, business owners, entrepreneurs and investors navigating the complexities of wealth preservation, global markets and long-term legacy planning.

Interested in joining the conversation?

We invite GIBS alumni to express their interest in attending by contacting [email protected].

Participation is intentionally limited to preserve the roundtable format and attendance will be confirmed by the GIBS Alumni Office.

Behind every walk across the stage is a story we may never fully know. The late nights. The people who made room for the dream. The sacrifices made quietly. The families who carried the journey too.

And then comes the moment everyone gets to see.

To the GIBS Spring Class of 2026 - take this one in. You earned the qualification. You earned this moment.

Welcome to your next chapter. ๐ŸŽ“

What if heritage wasnโ€™t just something we celebrate, but something we actively shape?

Every generation inherits values, stories, lessons and opportunities. The real question is: What are we building with them and what legacy will we leave behind?

Join the Alumni Speakers Network and Business Club as we explore:

Heritage in Action: What We Inherit. What We Build. What We Pass Forward

Together, we will reflect on the values and experiences we inherit, the impact we create today and how these shape leadership that endures across generations.

Because heritage is not simply our past. It is the foundation upon which we build our future.

This year at LeaderEx 2026, we are creating a dedicated GIBS Alumni Lounge.

Amid the exhibition buzz, the lounge will offer a space for alumni to pause, reconnect with familiar faces and build new connections across the GIBS community.

No presentations. No formal agenda.

Just a comfortable space to stop by, catch up with fellow alumni and see where the conversation takes you.

If you are attending LeaderEx 2026, your space is waiting.

Digital crime is evolving fast. Can digital defence keep up?

As scams become more sophisticated, technology is increasingly being used on both sides of the fight โ€” creating new threats while also offering new ways to detect, prevent and respond to them.

Join GIBS for Digital Crime vs Digital Defence: Can Technology Keep Up with the Scam Economy?

Hear from senior executives, policymakers and industry experts as they unpack todayโ€™s digital threat landscape and explore practical approaches to strengthening security, trust and consumer confidence.

If your organisation is navigating digital risk, fraud, cybersecurity or customer trust, this is a conversation you should be part of.
