I've had anxiety for almost as long as I can remember. It was like the minute I hit middle school I was also gifted with anxiety. I had terrible stomach cramps that magically went away when I didn't have to go to school so my mom thought I was faking. And for the next decade it got pretty intense.
In my 20s I worked really hard on learning tools and coping skills to lessen my anxiety and that's why I created my anxiety workbook. Check it out on my website and on Etsy!

THE POWER OF SMELL
The sense of smell is closely linked with our memory, probably more so than any of our other senses. We can attach a smell to childhood holidays, to precious moments with our families or to a meaningful event in our lives, but also to more insignificant and daily situations to which we do not give much value while we rush from one place to another. Being locked inside these days, we might miss quotidian smells like the refreshing smell of water cleaning the streets early in the morning, the bouquet of wildflowers growing in a specific spot of your garden, the deep and sweet aroma of coffee from your favourite coffee shop, the rich scent of patchouli with notes of vanilla in your favourite second-hand store, the intense whiff of the ocean entering your car on your way back home from work, or that sweet but light and ethereal smell of roses from your friend Lauren’s perfume. Yes, we may be in lockdown but the power of smell does not stop surprising us. While the world has some time to breathe and unwind, why don’t you tell us the smells that you miss the most and why?
Describe this smell in 20 to 25 words. The more details the better.
