Our Matric Afrikaans pupils enjoyed an engaging and interactive workshop on their prescribed novel, Donker Web, presented by PIT Productions and hosted at De La Salle Holy Cross College yesterday.
The performance brought the novel to life through a brilliant blend of drama, comedy and audience participation, making the themes and characters more accessible and memorable for our pupils. We were also delighted to welcome pupils and educators from three neighbouring schools who joined us for this enriching experience.
A huge thank you to PIT Productions for an entertaining and insightful presentation that made learning both meaningful and fun!

From the energetic beats of the drums and marimbas to the beautiful voices of the choir and the wonderful performances on ukuleles, guitars and flutes, our pupils filled the evening with music and enthusiasm.
The highlight of the night was seeing the pure joy on their faces as they shared their talents with family, friends, and teachers. We are incredibly proud of every performer who took to the stage and helped make the evening so memorable.

𧣠Thankful Tuesday: Winter Collection Thank You βοΈ
A heartfelt thank you to our DLSHCC community for your incredible generosity and support of this year's Winter Collection. Thanks to your kindness, the Tsholofelo Community was able to collect a bakkie full of warm clothing, jackets, blankets, shoes and hats to help those in need during the colder months.
Your willingness to give so generously is a beautiful reflection of our Lasallian Holy Cross values and the spirit of "Be first that you may be of service." Every donation will bring warmth, and comfort to members of the Tsholofelo Community this winter.
Thank you for making a meaningful difference and for continuing to show what it means to be part of our community.

The Grade 3s were filled with wonder and excitement as they explored the concept of density by creating layers of the ocean using Sunlight liquid, water and oil.
Before the experiment, the pupils eagerly shared their hypotheses, predicting whether the liquids would mix, sink or float. The moment of discovery was magical as the liquids separated into distinct layers, bringing the science of density to life before their eyes.
Comparing their predictions with the results sparked meaningful discussions and encouraged curiosity, critical thinking and a love of learning in our young scientists.
