The new HD PVR Explora Decoder will be released in stores around South Africa on Thursday 15 August.

The Decoder will be a much improved version of the older HD Decoder and will include the following:

4 times Video-on-Demand content - You will now have the option of renting up to 4 times the amount of Box Office movies;

5 times Catch Up Content - More Series and Sport Catch Up to be viewed and additional new Movie Catch Up to be included which automatically records all the top HD movies for you on the DSTV circuit;

220 Hours Standard and HD Recording time - More recording memory has been included especially in HD;

Redesigned User Interface - More user friendly interface software that is designed to be more in line with Apple Interfaces;

Tablet or Smartphone Apps Available - The new Explora has been "built with the internet in mind" and will integrate Apps with the Decoder setup;
