From skills development to entrepreneurship and community impact! 📱🛠️
We are proud to celebrate the journey of Siphosethu Mabuza, founder of DBuza Green Pastures, who participated in the HCLS Cellphone Repair Training Programme in Eshowe.
Through technical training, access to a cellphone repair toolkit and tablet, business registration support, certifications, and three months of mentorship, Siphosethu has transformed his new skills into a growing business.
Today, DBuza Green Pastures provides cellphone repair services including screen replacements, battery replacements, charging-port repairs and iPhone back-cover replacements. The business has also expanded beyond repairs by providing Electronics Tutorial Services to high school students, helping young people develop practical knowledge and an interest in technology. 🎓⚡
On a good month, Siphosethu reports earning approximately R10,000 through his business — demonstrating what can happen when technical skills are combined with persistence, customer service, marketing and entrepreneurship.
HCLS is proud to have contributed to this journey, with the programme supported by Vaal University of Technology and Moses Kotane Research Institute.
