BOOK NOOK IS BACK 📚

We missed our Book Nook last month but we’re back around the table this Thursday!

Bring whatever you’re reading.
We’ll spend the first hour reading quietly together, then we’ll put our books down and take turns sharing what we’ve been reading: what we loved, what we didn’t, what surprised us, what stayed with us…

And then, as always, the conversation takes on a life of its own.

Different books. Different perspectives. Different backgrounds.
One table — and somehow, the discussions always go much further than the books themselves.

Wine, tea, coffee… and probably some homemade cake. 🍰

We're looking for a Front Desk & Business Development Officer to join the Alliance Française of Johannesburg team!

What you'll do:
• Welcome and assist students and visitors.
• Recruit new students and develop partnerships.
• Promote our French programmes and outreach activities.
• Participate in the organisation of cultural events.
• Participate in educational and pedagogical programmes.

If you're organised, proactive, people-oriented, passionate about customer service and business development, and have a working knowledge of French, we'd love to hear from you!
