Lize-Marie Wait made a beautiful show, a theatre production for kids. It is fun and educational, it tells the story of two friends who is on a mission to save a plastic bag from the ocean. The show's name is Ka-BOOM! And it is showing at the Baxter Theatre Centre, Cape Town in June and the National Arts Festival, Makhanda in June.

Fun Facts Friday 😃💡

Did you know that the quickest way to ripen an unripe avocado is to store it with a lemon?

If you ask Google it will tell you that storing avo's with apples and/or bananas are the best options to help with the ripening process...but through trial and error I can honestly say that lemons work the best 👍

If you put hard avocados with a lemon, wrap them in newspaper and put them in a cupboard, they ripen in a day or two...depending on how unripe they may be it could take longer, but I recommend checking everyday incase they become overripe 👍

It really works like a charm 👌😊👍

By the way, avocado is a super food 🦸‍♀️👍
A ripe, creamy avocado is absolutely delicious!..an unripe avo is not delicious at all, and the taste of it may just ruin a young pallette forever, the negative affect being that the person's body would be deprived from all the benefits of eating avocado provides 😧😞👎

Unless you're allergic, I recommend adding this amazing food item to your menu 👌😁👍🥑💚

I'm not referring to items bought from online/chainstore outlets who sell commercially produced trend fashion.

I believe in buying quality over quantity because everything has a "lifetime;" that time depends on the item's "value."

I always make my beanies with removable pom poms...I think it makes them versatile and "timeless" 😊👍

Thought of the day: REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE

Life has become something strange...
It's a difficult and confusing time to be a child, and I honestly worry about the next generation.
There are many issues that can be listed, but the list continuously gets longer...

The future doesn't look very bright in a world where humans are identifying as cats and dogs...and are choosing to live like animals.

Children need love, guidance, and need to be given the correct information.
Adults need to spend more time with children, instead of leaving them to be entertained by gadgets.

This is really a massive problem...borderline crisis.

If a child had to approach me and tell me that they were a cat, I would explain that it's perfectly fine to have an appreciation and love for cats...if your pet cat is your best friend, and it's fine to want to act like a cat...that could get you to Broadway...
If you believe in reincarnation...you may feel a deep connection to cats.
But then I would remind that child that they have arms, legs, feet...because in this lifetime, they are a human being.

I would remind the child of how special and amazing human beings are...and that each of us is unique in our own way.
I would praise the child for having such an amazing imagination...and would possibly show him/her "Cats" the movie.

I feel like children who are left to spend too much time on devices are more exposed to confusion because most games and shows made for kids these days are very inappropriate.
Parents need to be aware of what their child is being exposed to at all times, and needs to be there to answer questions if they have any.

The children of today are supposed to be the leaders of tomorrow.

Children need stability, security, love and guidance.

And if they really want to watch something...let then watch "The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse" 👌😊👍

I had a Super Sunday at The Stables Village Centre 🦸‍♀️

All the super heroes got together to celebrate Wonder Woman's birthday ⭐

I highly recommend The Stables Village Centre for your next party venue 👌😊👍🎉

It's a beautiful location, with loads of space to create any kind of scene.
Activities on the day included pony rides, facepainting, everyone practiced their sword fighting skills with their balloon swords...Super Girl made an appearance on her tall legs and handed out balloon swords, as well as taught all the Super Heroes the "En-garde" position, and how to "Lunge" correctly when attacking your opponent 🤺👍
There are a variety of food vendors/restaurants to choose from...so all taste buds are guaranteed to be satisfied at your event 😁👍🧁🍰🥙🌯🌮🍕🍟🍔🍗🥨🥖🥐

I feel like when you're a child...you're very eager to be grown up...
And then many birthdays pass and people start to ask, "So do you feel older?"
The answer has always been "no" to be honest.

I hope no one ever loses their childlike spirit, to find joy in new discoveries, to be silly and laugh until your tummy hurts, to never stop doing "cannonballs" in the pool...

But I did have a realization...and I think I know when you can officially call yourself an adult.

Being an adult is having a sweetie jar and not needing to refill it everyday 👍

I think I'm almost an adult 🙋‍♀️
