Let’s hear it for Adashe Changunda, who delivered a masterclass in courage and talent at the Johannesburg Festival for the Advancement of Music! Held at Pridwin, this was Adashe’s very first instrumental competition, where he performed a beautiful solo cello piece.

Despite competing against schools with large, established orchestras, Adashe shone incredibly bright. He walked away with a phenomenal score of over 90%, earning a well-deserved Diploma!

We are so proud of your dedication and the beautiful way you represented Knights on the big stage, Adashe. Keep making beautiful music!

We recently hosted our Foundation (Grade 1-3) and Intersen (Grade 4-7) Phase parents for two wonderful mornings of coffee and connection with Mrs Schippers.

Here are the key takeaways from our sessions:

Lightening the backpacks: parents and students carry heavy, invisible loads, and they are not meant to be carried in isolation. True partnership between home and school is what lightens the weight.

Atmosphere over achievement: years from now, our children won’t remember perfect marks, they will remember presence, safety and connection. Our students don’t need perfect parents; they just need present parents who keep showing up.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We are so grateful to be on this journey with you!

Does excessive homework help or hinder a child's education? Traditional homework can often extinguish natural curiosity. At Knights Preparatory School, we focus on learning that inspires rather than overwhelms, ensuring our students stay excited about coming to school every day.

Stepping up for a great cause - in the comfiest way possible!

Our fully understood the assignment for Slipper Day today. From bright and colourful to classic and cosy, it was amazing to see our school filled with slippers in support of the Foundation.

By purchasing a sticker and wearing their slippers, our students are helping bring hope and joy to children fighting life-threatening illnesses. Thank you to our incredible Knights community for your generosity today! 💙

Drop a 🧸 or a 👣 in the comments if you wore your slippers today!
