I’m hosting one in-person goal-setting workshop this year.
Not because demand is low, but because depth matters more than numbers.

✔️ 24 people max
✔️ practical, grounded goal-setting
✔️ habits + accountability that support real life
✔️ a goals planner for everyone
✔️ a full goal-setting diary for the first 10 bookings

This isn’t about setting “perfect” goals.
It’s about staying connected to the goals that matter — even when the year gets messy.

If that sounds like your kind of work, here is the Booking link: https://www.spiralcoaching.co.za/product/goal-setting-2026/

Over the years of running goal-setting workshops, I’ve noticed a clear pattern.
People leave inspired.
They leave clear.
And then… life happens.
So instead of repeating the same content, I’ve evolved the work.

This year’s focus is on:
• goals that work under pressure
• habits that make progress easier
• accountability structures that keep people engaged
• reflection instead of all-or-nothing thinking

There will be one in-person workshop, limited to 24 people, because this work needs space to think — not a crowded room.

If you’ve attended before, expect the same solid foundation… with much deeper follow-through.

Let’s be honest —
the word accountability makes some people tense 😅

Because they picture:
❌ being checked up on
❌ being judged
❌ feeling guilty when they fall behind

That’s not the kind of accountability that works.

The kind that does work:
✔️ keeps goals visible
✔️ helps you reset instead of give up
✔️ reminds you of what matters when motivation dips

This year, accountability partnerships are a key part of my goal-setting work — not as pressure, but as support.

Because goals don’t fail from lack of motivation.
They fade in isolation.

What’s your experience of accountability — helpful or heavy?

Most people don’t struggle to set goals anymore.
They struggle to stay with them.

Not because they’re lazy.
Not because they don’t care.

But because real life gets busy, energy dips, and goals quietly slip to the bottom of the list.
That’s why this year I’ve evolved my goal-setting workshop.
Less hype.
More follow-through.
And a stronger focus on habits, structure, and accountability that actually supports you — not pressures you.

If you’ve ever started strong and faded by March… you’re not broken.
Your system just needs to change.

There’s a triangle behind most team tension—and it’s not the drama kind.

It’s how we relate:
• One part wants to connect
• One wants to fix
• One needs space

💡These aren’t flaws. They’re patterns. And until you name them, they run the show.
With one team, once these roles were named, the tension didn’t disappear—but the defensiveness did.

🛠️ The best teams don’t avoid conflict. They understand what's driving it.

Conflict isn't always about the content. It’s about the relationship.

Recently, a team kept circling the same issue. Again. And again.
Until someone asked:
"What are we really trying to protect here?"

That cracked it open. Some were protecting autonomy. Others were craving structure. A few just wanted peace.

⚡ When teams learn about Object Relations, the blame drops—and the learning begins.

It’s not therapy. It’s just good leadership.

🙋 Have you ever watched a conflict and thought, “This isn’t about the project”?

Have you ever tried to ‘fix’ someone at work?

A senior leader once told me,
"I just want them to grow a backbone!"

His colleague, quietly:
"I wish he’d stop pushing me so hard."

They weren’t enemies. They were reacting from two different Object Relations styles—one driven by loyalty to structure, the other pulled to connection.

When we map this out in coaching, the team doesn’t just get along better—they finally feel seen.

✨ You don’t have to change who you are. But you do need to see how you are.

💬 Which role do you usually take: the fixer, the connector, or the independent?
