We were exceptionally privileged on Wednesday to welcome world renowned Rabbi Yitzchok Ezrachi, Rosh Yeshiva of the Mir, to Torah Academy.
Rabbi Ezrachi spoke to the boys about the tremendous importance of Torah learning, and what a special privilege and responsibility we have to be able to learn Torah. He reminded our students that we actually daven for the beautiful privilege of connecting to Hashem through the study of Torah. The Rosh Yeshiva highlighted the importance of expressing gratitude and to thank Hashem for the opportunities of each day and that we also need to express our gratitude to our parents, our teachers and our students.
Our students behaved magnificently. They conducted themselves with kavod and derech eretz, listening attentively and showing Rabbi Ezrachi the respect he deserves. They were a real source of nachas to their parents and to the school, and we were incredibly proud of them.
The Rosh Yeshiva sand with with the students and embraced them with love, encouragement and joy.
It was a very special morning, and an experience indelibly imprinted on the minds and hearts of our talmidim.
