Our little geologists explored the wonders of the Grand Canyon by creating their own colourful Earth layers using sand and spices. This hands-on sensory activity inspired curiosity while developing creativity, fine motor skills and a deeper appreciation for our amazing planet.

Learning maths on a Table Mountain adventure! 🚠⛰️

Our little learners boarded a pretend cable car to Table Mountain, using number cards to count passengers, solve simple maths challenges and compare quantities along the way. A fun, imaginative journey that brought early numeracy to life!

Our little explorers shaped their own galaxy stars during Concrete Friday, combining creativity and sensory play while strengthening fine motor skills through hands-on learning.

Our little scientists explored a bubbly chemical reaction using baking soda, vinegar and colour. This hands-on experiment sparked curiosity and prediction while strengthening fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

This Nelson Mandela Day, our little ones discovered that even the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference.

As a school Rooted in Love, we believe that nurturing compassionate, empathetic children is just as important as the knowledge they gain each day. Through meaningful, hands-on experiences inspired by the spirit of Nelson Mandela Day, our little ones explored the values of kindness, generosity and giving back, discovering that every act of compassion has the power to brighten someone's day and strengthen a community.

The learning extended beyond our classrooms as we invited our wonderful Little Ashford families to support a local food drive. Our little ones proudly helped collect, sort and organise the generous donations, experiencing firsthand the joy of helping others and being part of something bigger than themselves.
