When we started the "Be the Reason ; Be the Voice" Campaign we had an idea of what God expected from us to share. But never did we know we were about to unlock the broken hearts of our youth.
We will always speak the raw truth!
With tears streaming down their faces and fear in their voices. With eyes closed and deep breaths, sweaty palms and a flicker of courage, the Bullied standing up against the Bullies.
"You are my bully. You have hurt me and I want to die"
These sessions have been heartbreaking.
A small voice whispers, "my bully is not at school but at home"...
We have encountered schools that have allowed us to bring Jesus, allowed us to pray and minister to the hearts of these children. And God has remained faithful. And how the Spirit moved.
Bullying has some serious consequences. Its a behavior that is intended to intimidate, humiliate and harm. It strips you of your self worth, self-esteem and self image.
One thing that has really been exposed and brought to the surface and that's .
They don't know who they are.
Is this a home issue or a school issue?
When we don't know who we are, we stand for nothing and fall for everything.
And substances will be there to bring comfort, will be there to bring escape.
Today we will Be the Reason children feel heard, feel loved. We will stand in the gap and be their Voice, even when they're shaking.
Even our Teachers stand in the gap🤍
"I got the chance to speak to young boys like a big brother. A big brother I never had. Someone that could speak into my life. A voice that could tell me about wrong or right, a voice to encourage me. I'm here to tell you about my mistakes and my lessons. Mistakes you don't have to make, lessons you don't have to learn" Angelo Lodewyk Addict’s Voice
