On Friday, 5 June, Highveld hosted their very own World Cup! Soccer, netball, and indigenous games — each class representing a different country, and the energy was brilliant 😁

Our winners:

🥇 7B (France) — Senior Phase Soccer

🥇 2A (Ghana) — Foundation Phase Soccer

🏆 5D (Australia) — Overall Senior Phase Champions

🏆 2B (Qatar) — Overall Foundation Phase Champions

The U/11 and U/13 Soccer girls took part in the Belle of the Ball tournament held in Rivonia on Saturday, the 6th of June 2026.

The U/13 Girls finished in second place🥈 earning themselves silver medals and the U/11 Girls finished in first place,🥇 earning themselves gold medals. Highveld Primary’s name has also been added to the Belle of the Ball floating trophy 🏆.

Well done to our girls 👏🏻 ⚽️ and well done to all the coaches, teachers and parents who are always encouraging our learners to achieve their best.

On Friday, the 29th of May, Highveld showed support for Slipper Day, in support of The Reach For A Dream Foundation 💙 A donation will be made on behalf of Highveld to support this amazing foundation that is doing amazing things!

We decided to complete the outfit and wear pajamas too, and didn't our learners and teachers look so warm and cozy?? 😁

Proud moment! 🏆 Our Grade 7 learners represented Highveld at the Natural Science Olympiad on Tuesday at W.H. Coetzer Primary School. Well done to Luke on second place and Tyra on joint fourth place. Thank you to Mr. Nxumalo for his support and guidance!
