OUR SCHOOL:
Accrede College is a co-educational, small, independent private school situated near Florida, Gauteng. Providing a balanced, holistic, innovative learning experience, encouraging students to realise their unique gifts, talents and abilities in pursuit of academic excellence.

ROLE SUMMARY:
To adopt a holistic view of students in their care, promoting the general progress and well-being of individuals and of any class or group assigned to them. To create a positive learning environment and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan prepare and present interesting and exciting lessons.
- Establish a teaching environment that is nurturing, and which promotes engaged learning.
- Behave professionally concerning punctuality, behaviour, standards of work and students’ homework.
- Evaluate, reflect on and refine teaching practice.
- Be open to continuously developing one's teaching through personal and school-wide professional development.
- Teach extra lessons, when required, on one or two afternoons per week.
- Assist with the co-curricular programme.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Able to set clear expectations
- Adaptable teaching style incorporating feedback
- A depth of understanding in the relevant subject area
- Ability to judge learning effectiveness
- Excellent preparation and planning
- Assessment of student outcomes and feedback to enhance performance
- Genuine care and attention for the highest standards of student welfare
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience will be advantageous
- University qualification
- SACE registered

Our Grade 1, 2 and 3 learners went on their very first bushwalk, and what a special adventure it was! 🌿🥾
