What does Digital Intelligence look like in Grade 1, 4 or 6?

At Logiscool, we have been building something brand new: a complete Digital Intelligence learning path for Grades 1–8, designed to grow with children at every stage.

In Grade 1, the journey begins with mouse and keyboard skills, playful logic games, robots, digital drawing and first coding challenges.

By Grades 2–3, children are creating games, animations, digital stories and 3D worlds while exploring smart devices, online safety and beginner AI tools.

In Grades 4–5, they take on app design, robotics missions, Micro:bit experiments, video production, block-based coding and AI-supported creative projects.

By Grades 6–8, students work with more complex digital projects, AI prompting, robotics, 3D modelling and app design while preparing for the transition toward text-based programming.

From Grade 1 to Grade 8, children explore technology through age-appropriate projects in AI, digital creation, coding, robotics, online safety, 3D design, video and more. They begin with playful discovery and gradually progress toward more complex projects, stronger problem-solving skills and preparation for programming.

What would our future be without the curiosity, courage and ideas of today’s young people?

Today, on International Youth Day, we celebrate the children and teenagers who inspire us every day with their creativity, determination and willingness to learn. At Logiscool, we are fortunate to support young people as they discover new interests, build valuable skills and grow more confident in their own abilities. We see them ask bold questions, solve difficult problems, support one another and turn their ideas into real projects.

Being part of their development is both a privilege and a responsibility — and we are deeply grateful for it. We are thankful to every child and teenager who brings energy and imagination into our classrooms, and to every parent who trusts us to support their child’s journey.

What happens to a child’s holiday project after camp ends?

Maybe they built a game, designed a digital world, programmed a robot or experimented with AI. For a few days, they were completely focused on improving it, solving problems and making it their own.

Then the school holiday ends, routines return, and that project can easily become just another memory. But it could also become a starting point.

A child who enjoyed building one game may be ready to learn how more complex games work. Someone who loved experimenting with AI may want to understand how to use it creatively and responsibly. A first coding project can lead to stronger logic, greater independence and the confidence to tackle bigger challenges.

For many children, holiday camps are one of the highlights of the year. It is where they can explore freely, try new things, create, play, make friends and discover what they are capable of.

But that energy does not have to end when camp season does.

As the new school term approaches, it is a good moment for us, as parents, to think beyond timetables and school supplies. What would we like our children to achieve this year? What skills should they become more confident in? What interests could grow into something meaningful if they had the right support?
