Teaching 101 crash course

It has been almost an entire year since I moved overseas. Would you guys be interested to hear about the differences of teaching abroad? Like ❤️ if you are keen to learn more 🫶🏼

Ain’t that the truth. Sometimes we have to deviate from the lesson or the lesson might take us in a different direction and sometimes we have to set aside our entire lesson to deal with more pertinent questions or issues.

2022 has not been an easy year but we have a whole new year of adventures and excitement and the opportunity to make a difference 💙💜💚 I hope it’s an amazing one!

Hey Guys! Some exciting news. A group of friends and I are going to be doing some podcasts chatting about education, our own personal experiences, holistic education, effects of Covid and a whole bunch of other things. Yes we are touching on some serious topics and important things to consider but we want to try and keep things light hearted while doing so and have some fun 🥰 Teacher collaboration is sooo important for growing yourself as an individual and professionally too. As a teacher we often give ALOT of ourselves to the children in our classes and leave little for our own well being. I’m not sure about you guys but I have found after Covid the demands seem to be more intense. We are landing up giving more than what we can afford to and leaving ourselves depleted. Why is that? Honestly I think the last few years have been extremely stressful and tough in people and the same thing is happening in other industries - parents are forced to give off themselves so much in the workplace that they have little to no energy for their kids when they get home and so the children come to school in search of that energy. BUT your energy is sacred. You cannot pour from an empty cup ❤️
I hope you take some time this December to enjoy the small things that bring you joy and refill those cups 🤗🌈
