Happy Youth Day 2026!

11/06/2026

Our day started with serious Bafana supporters arriving in their full supporter gear! The school was filled with cheer, laughter and HUGE excitement!
We enthusiastically chanted our Parkview cheer (playing in the video) and then it was match time!

We hope our positive vibes reach our Bafana team for the first game of the World Cup tonight! 🏆 ⚽️ 🥅

Stretching and untying elastics to free the farm animals is a fun and interactive way to strengthening a child’s hand-eye coordination and finger control.
These are the exact muscles they will use for holding pencils, forming letters and writing with confidence later.

Today our school turned into a racetrack as the children brought their bikes to school.
Helmets on, bells ringing and pure joy all day long celebrating World Bicycle Day! 🌍 🚲

We stirred up a storm creating our very own storms in a tray! 🌧️⚡

Using cotton wool clouds, yellow lightning bolts, blue gems and lots of focus, the children had to follow the “stir up a storm” recipe cards.

This hands-on activity helps build fine motor and sequencing skills.

Happy Africa Day!

We started our morning outside with the joyful beats of drums and marimbas. There is no better way to celebrate our continent than with a lot of joyful energy!

🐝 Happy World Bee Day!🐝

Today we celebrated the tiny bees that do BIG things for our world
Let’s “bee kind” and help our little pollinators by sharing, caring and looking after our flowers.

We took 4 flowers and gave each one a different home!
One was left in a box, one did not get any water, one did not have any soil and one got love and care every day.

Over the week, we observed how factors like light, water and temperature affect plant growth. The children found the results fascinating! 🪴
