Do you know each Registrar at High Court? Do you have any questions for the Registrars? Do you have time to go to the High Court Johannesburg, on your own, and go and introduce yourself to each Registrar, as a practicing Attorney I don’t have the time, but luckily I attended the High Court tour, and each and every year I learned something new.
It was also during the 2022 High Court Tour that I was introduced to the Court Online Help Desk. It was because of this introduction that I knew there was a help desk, who assisted me and my Director with registration a few months after the tour.
Last year the DJP’s office also introduced themselves to the attendees and gave us some tips on getting court dates and working with the Court Online System. (They will be attending this year’s tour as well)
This High Court tour is not just for Candidate Attorneys.
PS: Candidate Attorneys don’t pay membership fees at JAA, so become a member and come and enjoy the day with us, firms can send their Candidate Attorneys with questions or even attend themselves. We’ve even had admin ladies attend the tour.
