When planning a theme for your children, take note on these:

1. A theme must be educational
2. It must be age appropriate
3. They must be fun and easy for children to learn.

Proper planning is IMPORTANT. Plan ahead and always be ready and organized.

BECOME A GREAT ECD PRACTITIONER

It takes more than just acquiring a qualification to become a great ECD practitioner. Amongst a lot of things it requires PASSION for teaching. Love what you do and live for it.

PATIENCE.: our patience will encourage children to participate and not be afraid to bond with you.

CREATIVITY: as an ECD Practitioner you must be highly creative in designing lesson plans. Lesson plans must be captivating and informative.

ENERGETIC: your energy level must match your learners energy. create a fun learning environment.

Children have different learning styles:

Visual learners
Auditory learners
Tactile learners
Kina esthetic learners

As a practitioner you have to be able to learn and observe your children and know what kind of learners they are.
