We are already geared up in support of and informed policy and decision-making at the Africa Evidence Network (AEN)'s conference. Yesterday, CLEAR-AA, DEval - German Institute for Development Evaluation and World Food Programme hosted a side event on ECD for strengthening evaluation systems, ahead of the official opening of the conference today. This event sought to lay the foundation for a community of practice(CoP) within the evaluation and broader evidence ecosystem. We can't wait for more on the CoP!

Ms Sne Tsekiso, CLEAR-AA's Evaluation Systems Programme Manager, is part of the panel this morning at the 2nd MERL week in Arusha, Tanzania. She speaks of M&E Capacity Development Strategy and Plan as a requisite to sustaining a cadre of M&E practitioners who are able to supply and demand M&E information.
