Matric results for the 2024 academic year are going to be released soon and made available to all students, learners and candidates that set for their exams in October/November examination period.
It is not a secret that not all learners will get desired results, results that they hope and wish for, by this I mean, not all learners will receive results that will enable them to meet university requirements, college requirements and/or learnership requirements.
It is then therefore important that they know that there are several other options available to them, with the most obvious one and yet important one being registering to rewrite their exams again this year. Giving up is not an option!!
1. Learners should enquire about rewriting (supplementing) at their former schools, and if they qualify for the supplementary exam, this will enable them to sit for their exams in May/June.
2. Learners that are not elegible to write, should visit a nearby District Office (e.g D12 in Florida, D14 in Pimville... etc), visit the Department of Education Office, or any registered AET/ABET centre to register for rewriting (upgrading) their exams in October/November.
3. ithuba_educational_initiative offers classes, Monday to Friday, to help prepare registered learners for their supplementary and upgrade exams (visit us at the YMCA building , Orlando East, Rathebe Street, opposite the Orlando Police Station to register for our classes, and exams if not yet registered at your former school or at any district office).
ALL it takes is a second chance, don't you dare give up on your dreams, a dream delayed is not a dream denied, sometimes it takes doing something more than once to get it right, the first time we do it with hope, and if we fail we do it for a second time, not only with hope this time as round, but with experience.
