From the Amazon to our classroom 🌿

After learning about the traditional malocas built by early Amazonian communities, students designed their own house structures and tested their roofs to see if they could withstand rainforest rain! 🌧️

🌧️ Rainy days call for slow, mindful moments. We turned a grey afternoon into something beautiful by folding paper cranes.

Origami isn’t just a creative activity but it’s also wonderful for developing fine motor skills. Each careful fold strengthens hand muscles, improves finger control, and supports coordination needed for writing, drawing, and everyday tasks. It also encourages patience, focus, and problem-solving. 🦢
