* Basically what we are looking at is statistics
= you will learn how to SUMMARISE. REPRESENT and ANALYSE data that contain multiple sets of data and multiple categories.

Eg.. working with vehicle statistics containing information on the number of different types of none-roadworthy vehicle in each province in SA

= work with data that contains complex values
Eg. Value expressed in millions or large data values for which estimation may be necessary to determine values or graphs and tables

= Work with data that also relates to national and global issues.

NO ONE WAY OF ANALYSING THIS IS TO CALCULATE THE MEASURES OF CENTRAL TENDENCY FOR EACH GROUP.

Pay close attention to the following

Median
Method
Middle value in an ordered data set

The value in the middle of the data is 59%
Group2
There are 2 values in the middle of the data. So we average them
58+60÷2=59%

Mode
Method
The most frequent value

Group1
63%
Group2
54%

Now let's analyse our data

Mean
According to the mean. Group 2 performed slightly better than group 1. However. It is not enough of a difference to say that they performed significantly better.

Median
Both groups have the same median so this measure could not decide between them

Mode
According to the mode. Group1 did better. But this type of data model is not quite useful measurement. There are too few of the modal data to declare it to be a good indicator

3.* In Meiosis 1 Anaphase 1 each chromosome of Homologous chromosomes is pulled to the opposite poles of the cell

* In Meiosis 2 Anaphase 2 chromatids (daughter chromosomes) are pulled fo the opposite poles of each cell.

4.* Meiosis 1 telophase 1 the cell membrane constricts and divides the cytoplasm in half to form two cells.

* In meiosis 2 telophase 2 the cytoplasm divides into two cells and four haploid daughter cells are formed.

Remember that Meiosis is the type of cell division whereby diploid cell (somatic cell) undergoes two cell divisions, and divides to form four dissimilar haploid cells (s*x cells)

Don't be scared to ask questions

Life science grade 12:

The simplest way to understand meiosis 1 and meiosis 2 is to to know the difference, you need to be able to see which meiotic division it is (1 or 2) NB: you need to check the number of chromosomes

The difference between Meiosis 1 and meiosis 2 is that:

1.* In meiosis 1 there are two chromosomes called Homologous chromosomes one from the mother and one from the father.

*In meiosis 2 there is an individual chromosome

2.* In meiosis 1 prophase 1 chromatids from each Homologous pair touch to cross over or swap the DNA and that point of crossing over is called the chiasma

In meiosis 2 prophase 2 ech cell formed during Meiosis 1 is now divided again and there is no crossing over.

2.* In Meiosis 1 metaphase 1 the Homologous chromosomes line up along the equator of the spindle fibres

*In meiosis 2 metaphase 2 individual chromosomes line up at the equator of each cell.

3.* In Meiosis 1 Anaphase 1 each chromosome of Homologous chromosomes is pulled

Economics: Phillips curve wen unemployment rate decreases inflation will increase,Then when unemployment rate increase inflation will decrease. Note this inflation target of South Africa is 3%to 6%🙏
