🔶 Closed Book Discussion with the Japanese Embassy 🔶

Yesterday, the Division for Global Engagement, in collaboration with the Department of Politics and International Relations and the Embassy of Japan, hosted a closed book discussion featuring Prof. Bhaso Ndzendze's latest publication, The Political Economy of Sino-South African Trade and Regional Competition.

The session brought together distinguished speakers:

Welcoming our colleagues from the University of Venda!

The Division for Global Engagement was delighted to welcome a delegation from the University of Venda yesterday, hosted by Ms. Anisa Khan, Director: Academic Services, for a benchmark visit aimed at strengthening international partnerships and knowledge exchange.

Our visitors included:

🔶 Ms Annah Chuene – Partnerships Officer
🔶 Mr Mirero Makhado – Assistant International Relations Officer
🔶 Mr Zwidofhelangani Raudzingana – Partnerships Intern (Database Management)

The visit focused on sharing best practices in partnership coordination and management, including systems and mechanisms for tracking and monitoring partnership activities and outputs. Discussions also covered processes for ensuring implementation and accountability of MOUs, as well as the respective roles of faculties, departments, and international offices in partnership management.
